Today I continue with the interview with the pediatrician and nutrition specialist Feferbaum Rubens, Full Professor in Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP). I talked to him about the impact of exaggeration in the supply of milk for children over one year old.

The nutrition specialist explains the importance of milk in infant nutrition, because it is a very rich food, but clarifies the need for a varied diet and disadvantages of a milk diet.

Professor Rubens Feferbaum explains the risks of a restricted diet to milk and the importance of food education in childhood. For him, from the second half of life, when you start complementary feeding together with the breastfeeding, the family must begin to offer items from all food groups to provide a balanced diet.
